DC may not have Bourbon Street but it does know how to throw a good party! Celebrate Mardi Gras starting today and up until Fat Tuesday with these New Orlean’s themed DC events.

Black Jack and TILT Side Bar Mardi Gras Fest

Looking to go to one place this weekend for all your Mardi Gras needs. Black Jack and TILT Side Bar are hosting a Mardi Gras Fest all weekend long! Starting with their Kickoff Party on Saturday and going all weekend long with drink specials from Saturday at 3PM till Fat Tuesday. Make a reservation for Sunday the 26th for a Creole inspired brunch including live music. Mardi Gras Fest at Black Jack is sure to be an a great event!

16th Annual Clarendon-Courthouse Mardi Gras Parade

The Mid-Atlantic’s biggest Mardi Gras Parade is hosted right in our own backyard! Check out Clarendon’s 16th Annual Clarendon-Courthouse Mardi Gras Parade Tuesday, February 28,  at 7:00 PM. There will be floats, bands, decorated vehicles. It’s sure to be an event that gets everyone into the Mardi Gras spirit and will make you feel as though you’re right on Bourbon Street.

Chef Rusty Holman creates authentic New Orleans-Style Cuisine at Bayou on Pennsylvania Ave everyday. Besides offering a great Happy Hour from 4-7 Tuesday thru Friday Bayou is also hosting their 7th Annual Mardi Gras Party! From 11AM-4PM lunch will be served accompanied with tunes by the Capitol Hillbillies authentic Cajun music. From 5PM-9AM a buffet is served with an all-you-can-eat Bayou fare for only $25! Live music and giveaways are scheduled for the rest of the night!

Come to Union Market to enjoy 20+ of the DC area’s best Southern-inspired restaurants, top mixologists, bars and breweries and rotating bands. The event runs from 5-10PM and proceeds benefiting DC Central Kitchen and the Saint Bernard Project.
